1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MuteMic.com ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
MuteMic provides a catalog of AI-generated instrumental music tracks available for licensing. Tracks are delivered as MP3 (320kbps) and WAV (24-bit/48kHz) files depending on your subscription plan.
3. Subscription Plans
Explorer (Free): Browse catalog, listen to 30-second previews, create playlists. No downloads.
Pro ($15/month): Download up to 100 MP3 tracks per day. Full catalog access.
Studio ($25/month): Download up to 100 MP3 and WAV tracks per day. REST API access for automated workflows.
Subscriptions are billed monthly via PayPal. You may cancel at any time from your Dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period.
4. License Grant
Upon downloading a track with a valid paid subscription, you are granted a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual license to use the track in your content, including but not limited to:
- YouTube videos, podcasts, streams, and social media content
- Commercial projects, advertisements, and client work
- Games, apps, and software products
- Film, TV, and documentary productions
5. Restrictions
You may NOT:
- Redistribute, resell, or sub-license tracks as standalone music files
- Upload tracks to music distribution platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.) as your own
- Claim copyright ownership of the underlying musical composition
- Use automated tools to mass-download the catalog beyond your plan limits
- Share your account credentials or API key with third parties
6. Content ID & Copyright
All tracks are registered with Content ID systems. Your licensed usage is protected — if you receive a copyright claim on a platform like YouTube, contact us with your account details for whitelisting.
7. API Usage
Studio plan includes REST API access. API usage is subject to rate limits (1,000 requests/day, 100 downloads/day). Abuse of the API, including attempts to circumvent rate limits, may result in account suspension.
8. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the Service. Previously downloaded tracks under a valid license remain licensed.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, specific catalog size, or compatibility with all platforms.
10. Limitation of Liability
MuteMic's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
